My family and I are finally back in the beautiful city of Abu Dhabi.  I'm actually watching my son and his dad enjoy a quick dip into the clear waters of the Corniche beach as I write this post.  It's 10:20 am of December 30 already but the city's still quiet, just like how she's always been.  Oh, I can't help but miss the festive feel of the holidays back in my home country!

Anyway, while most bloggers are busy publishing their obligatory year-end reports, I decided it would be best for me to end this year's blog with a post that celebrates LOVE -- the wedding of my dear friends, Princess and Aaron! 

This couple's love story began way back in high school.  I believe, they were each other's first love, but their relationship didn't last long. Perhaps, time wasn't on their side just yet.  Nevertheless, fate brought them in each other's arms once more -- this time, they're all grown up as mature and responsible adults. A few years later, Aaron finally popped the question everyone else has long been waiting for.  Well, obviously, we would have not had this wondrous celebration of love, laughter and happily ever after if Princess didn't say YES!

It was indeed a beautiful and happy occasion!  I loved the couple's idea of exchanging gifts while doing their preps in the hotel -- such as sweet and thoughtful surprise!  (We didn't have that when my husband and I got married in 2012.  But in case we did, I guess, I would have gifted him with a guitar and a guitar strap button -- so he could serenade me with his love songs every night!  Lol!)  I was also impressed with their acoustic performer that night and got really entertained by the groom's friend, who won the garter toss and gamely danced to the sexy tune of "Careless Whisper" as he approached the lady who won the bouquet toss.  Oh my, you should have seen that!  He had really brought the house down with his sexy moves, haha! 

Kidding aside.. if I were to choose my most favorite part of all, I would have to say it's Bogs Ignacio's SDE video. It was phenomenal!   Kudos to the bride and groom for making such a great choice!  For those of you who would like to see Mr & Mrs Aaron Flormata's beautiful wedding once more, you may watch it here.
