Rafa's Fourth Birthday

1:54 AM

This year, my husband and I decided to celebrate our first born's birthday two weeks in advance.  Rafa's birthday actually falls on the 25th of November and I'm due to give birth on the 30th.  But as we all know it, pregnant women can go into labour and delivery anytime after 37 weeks.  We wanted Rafa to experience a fun birthday celebration with our full and undivided attention, hence the advance party.

We just had a simple dinner in Pizza Hut with Rafa's closest friends and teachers -- each one, he personally chose and invited.  After which, the kids played in Fun City all night long!  (Sorry, there are no photos from the Fun City Play Area.  The dads were the ones who accompanied the kids while the mommies were busy chit-chatting with the teachers.)

To be honest, this event was totally unplanned and we only got to invite our guests three days in advance.  Nonetheless, we're very glad that all of them made it to our son's party despite the very short notice.

To Rafa's teachers, Teacher Emy, Teacher Joanne, and Teacher Marivic; to his best friends, Inigo and Ishie, and their parents, Tita Frances, Tito Richard, Tita Joan, and Tito Chris; and to the Titas of Abu Dhabi, Tita Ermyr and Nana:  My husband and I are so grateful for all the love, support and appreciation you continue to show our beloved son.  From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for joining us in celebrating Rafa's 4th birthday!!! Til next time!
