After several weeks of inactivity, finally, an update!  

I must admit, I've been struggling with being consistent in writing a new post to publish on this blog.  It's  not because I'm running out of topics to share.  In fact, I still have to work on my backlogs from our previous trips.  The thing is, I've become preoccupied with Philippine politics, especially the president's controversial war against illegal drugs.  Thus, instead of spending my free time (that is, when my son is napping or sleeping) working on a new blog post, I always end up reading online news and updates.  Well, I just hope he succeeds in cleaning our country of drugs, corruption, and criminality -- as he had promised during the campaign period.  After all, who doesn't want to have a better Philippines and a brighter future for the next generation?

Anyway, today, I will be sharing with you our family's experience of Khalidiyah Palace Rayhaan by Rotana.  We had this staycation two months ago, that was June 2016, during the holy month of Ramadan.  My husband, Ronnie, chanced upon their special promotion online and thought it would be a great idea to grab the opportunity and experience the hotel at almost half the price.  So off we went to have our much-needed rest and relaxation one weekend.

What can I say?  Well, I have nothing but praises for this 5-star property!  

Firstly, the check-in process was a breeze!  Beverly, the hotel staff who assisted us, had been generous enough to upgrade our room for free.  Isn't that just the sweetest way to welcome a first time customer into your hotel?

Secondly, our room was very spacious and their king sized bed was super comfy!  Not to mention, it also had a great view of the beach and pool area.  Again, thank you so much, Beverly!

Thirdly, everyone -- as in every single employee of the hotel -- was very warm, courteous, and accommodating.  For me, this was what made it an absolute winner!

Lastly, their facilities were excellent!  We loved their pool (with lifeguards on duty), playground, and their indoor play area.  This hotel is super kid-friendly, your little ones will surely enjoy the place!
