Anyone who personally knows my dearest husband is probably aware of the undeniable fact that he speaks fluent Spanish.  He learned the language several years ago when he enrolled in a Spanish course at Instituto Cervantes.  I don't really know the exact reason why he decided to master a third language, but one thing I'm sure of is, he got me totally impressed!

So, when he told me late last year that he wanted to go on a Europe tour, I just knew right away, we won't be missing out Spain!  And I was right!  It even looked like as if Ronnie had intentionally saved the best for last -- for our two-week European travel adventure officially ended in Spain.  I'm completely cool with it, for anything that makes him happy, makes me happy too!

Honestly, I believe my husband actually did a great job when he decided to have Spain on the last leg of our trip.  While Italy and Paris had been an absolute jaw-dropper in terms of their major attractions, I must say that Spain's relaxed pace of life and the opportunity it gave me to meet my husband's good old friends living on this side of the planet were what made it truly special.

Of all the three countries we visited, Spain was definitely the easiest to explore -- simply because we didn't have to deal with "language barrier" (since my husband knows how to communicate in Espanol).  It's kinda challenging to travel especially in a place where most people don't speak your language. Can you imagine how frustrating it is to be lost in an unfamiliar place and the people you try to talk to to ask for direction just cannot understand a single word you say?  Argh!  It happened to us several times in Italy and Paris!!!  So if you're planning to go on a Europe tour, make sure to load yourself with tons of patience because you'll certainly need A LOT of it!  Nonetheless, I can assure you, the experience you'll get from this once in a lifetime travel opportunity will definitely be one for the books!
