Every time we go on vacation to the Philippines, we make sure to treat the whole family to a relaxing getaway -- to bond and share quality time with our loved ones since we only get to fly to our home country once a year.  Thus, I am always on the lookout for family-friendly hotels/resorts that offer great deals or discounts, because who doesn't want 'sulit'?

Speaking of sulit, the best "value-for-money" accommodation that we've been to and our current family favorite (so far) is Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay.  Believe me, it's hard not to like this place, especially if you are traveling with kids and looking for a quick getaway destination that's just a few hours drive away from Manila.  We loved it here and I'm pretty sure you would, too!  Here are the reasons why:

Their premiere family room is BIG!  At 33sqm, it is, indeed, bigger than the average hotel rooms that I've been to!  Complete with all the basic amenities including two queen-sized beds and a balcony, this room which costs PHP 6,076/night is already good for four adults (including breakfast and refillable welcome drinks).  Plus, you also get an extra PHP 500 consumable credits if you book directly via their official website.  How sulit is that?!?!

Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay is like a "home away from home."  It has this cozy ambiance that would make you feel comfortable. They have a rustic lounge area that suggests a laid-back theme perfect for chillin' and recreational facilities (game room, outdoor pools, playground, and farm) to keep you entertained.  And when I say "entertained," I meant keeping you preoccupied with FUN things to do other than wasting time on your smartphone! 

Apart from their superb facilities, they also have several activities that the whole family would definitely enjoy such as farm tour, horse riding, animal feeding, bonfire and s'mores, and a movie under the stars (with free popcorn).  There's just so many fun things to do in this place, an overnight stay will leave you feeling 'bitin'! 

Perhaps, the best part of our stay!  I've been to several five-star hotels abroad but Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay's buffet breakfast is the absolute winner of them all.  It's yummy and tasty and they have a wide variety of options to choose from!  Seriously, it was like we had an abundant five-course breakfast meal that day -- starting off with soup, to salad, appetizer, entree, and lastly, the mouth-watering dessert!  Really, breakfast pa lang sulit na sulit na!!!

Everyone, as in ALL of their staffs, is so warm, friendly, and very welcoming!  That's true, and I am not being OA!  Every single hotel staff that we encountered during our stay had been very kind and pleasant to our group.  As in babatiin ka nila ng "good morning/ afternoon/ evening" with a genuine smile on their faces kahit makasalubong ka lang nila sa hallway.  I personally love it when staffs treat their guests with much care and attention.  I feel spoiled!  Lol! 

Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay has certainly exceeded my expectations!  No wonder they ranked #2 in 2018 TripAdvisor's Top 10 Hotel for Families in the Philippines.  Such a well-deserved spot!!!  Highly-recommended!
